Independence Then and Now

Recently I got a copy of a book put out by the local paper "The Examiner". It had great photos from the early 19th century taken here in Indpendence. I had never thought of it before then but this is my kids home town. So, this little project is something I am doing for my enjoyment and their approval latter. It is the old photo's next to identical shots of the same spot today.
